Labradoodles are a cross breed between a Labrador Retriever and Poodle. They are very common among the doodle breeds. Both types of dogs are hunting dogs/retrievers and do well in the water (they LOVE the water!). They are a combination of the best traits of both breeds.

Like other doodles they are very intelligent, loving, loyal, non-shedding and hypoallergenic. They are bread in three sizes miniature, medium and standard. They are good with other animals and children with proper socialization. The prey drive may be strong in an untrained Labradoodle. They are eager to please and love their people. Though not a guard dog, they will alert to changes in their environment. Good with strangers after initial alerts.

The Labradoodle coat can be wavy, wiry or curly; also have many different colors or color combinations.

Due to their intelligence, they do require training, socialization, exercise, appropriate toys and attention. They are great family dogs.
